Being in usp and attending the ethics and environment module is seriously humbling. I cant even describe how my mind is churning non-stop during the discussions. It's a module about applied ethics and philosophy, by the way. The prof is some cute old man with a cute white moustache heehee :p
But that aside, the class/tutorial is mainly filled with seniors, and they are so articulate and smart i feel stupid just sitting there and listening. Hahaahahha but i think i've learnt so much.. and gained a deeper respect for philosophers - they can go really deeeeeeeep..
(oh the prof was actually an economics undergrad but he said he realised he was too stupid for economics and decided to study philosophy HAHA how cute)
I am currently discovering the balance between my belief in utilitarianism and deontology (though i wonder if there can or should be a balance). alrightos! :)
University scholars club dinner and dance 2009 atou (ahead) ie TMR!!!!! (LOL OMG whats with terence and straightening his hair vain sir!!!)
plus we're forming a group to take part in the public policy challenge, AWESOME! got a speech to prepare for next wed ahhh. also, INTER FACULTY GAMES!!!!!
plus im really quite excited for some stuff... heheh :p
